Mission 10
Part I
Collect some T-ENG from the containers in front and enter VS. Jump down, where you will encounter a large group of the Akrid elite. Activate the data post and enter the tunnel, you can switch your VS to the best one here. Jump through the hole in the roof and head towards the light in the cave. You will see a hole that you can fall into, do so and follow the corridor until you reach the path designated as Zone 011. You will find yourself in an underground city, or at least in what is left of it now. Turn left and go through the tunnel.
The boss
This enemy is very respectable in terms of size and appearance, but in the end it turns out to be surprisingly simple. Buy yourself a VS laser rifle and VS shotgun. Use both of these weapons at the same time to shoot through the joints of his legs. To deal real damage to him, you have to knock him down by destroying two of his legs in a short period of time (the second one needs to be cut off before the first one grows back).
It's not that difficult, just stay close to the enemy and constantly shoot at the legs. When it comes to protection, all you have to think about is not getting under the spider's body, because it can easily trap you and then do a lot of unpleasant things. Do not jump, but use the afterburner to quickly fly around the arena.
There's a huge mantis-like Acrid here - if you don't have VS anymore, just skip the fight and run towards the destroyed building (right screenshot below). Enter it and jump down. Take the laser rifle and attach it to the VS at the bottom. Get on the mech and keep moving, only to find yourself involved in a boss battle.
Boss I
This battle can be divided into two phases. The first is to eliminate the tentacles. It's best to do this on foot, so leave the VS for later and start attacking them. As soon as you deal enough damage to the tentacle, the monster will take it out through a tunnel in the floor.
Enter this tunnel and his boss's body from there (it's good to have a chargeable weapon, like the VS Laser Rifle, you can charge a shot when entering the tunnel). You will have to do this twice for each probe. When you destroy the tentacles from the inside, the boss will no longer pull them out, and you can attack him directly.
The second phase is very simple - enter VS and try to jump and hover all the time, throwing everything you have at the red head of Akrid when he shows it from under the shell.
